Fiber can also help blind cholesterol decreasing the risk of our heart diseases.  Fiber can also help in the fight against type 2 diabetes.  The reason for this it slows down to release of sugar into the blood stream. this satiates your appetite longer

Fiber in you diet

On average Canadians eat 14 grams of fiber per day.  Health Canada recommends that a healthy daily consumption is betWeen20-38 grams; this is then accordance to your Weight

If you like to up your fiber content in your diet add the following breads whole-grain, cereals, pasta ,oats, barley and brown rice. This will increase your daily intake of fiber. if you like to snack and still get fiber We recommend snacking on air pop popcorn dry roasted nuts, seeds and whole-grain cereals to satisfy your hunger
