Why is Green tea so special?

As people are becoming more and more health conscious each day, the entire world is on an outlook for healthy substitutes of what they are already consuming. This is one good reason that makes green tea a special substitute for other drinks like black tea and coffee. Western countries which are major consumers of black tea and coffee have recently shifted their consumption to green tea.  This radical change in the habit certainly implies the unparalleled medicinal values and benefits associated with green tea.  The presence of catechin polyphenols in green tea reduces the risk of several prevalent ailments.

With obvious benefits, drinking green tea is surely a self treat and would definitely out beat the properties of both the conventional drinks: black tea and coffee.
